When you get those “Fire Preparedness” notices in the mail, do you have questions about the best thing to do NOW to prepare to evacuate, keep your home safe, and keep your community resilient against the threat of fire? Your neighbors on Vaca Del Sol did (off Buzzard Lagoon), and we wanted to do something about it–SO! If you live in the Corralitos area, your neighbors have set up a special opportunity to hear directly from our local CALFIRE, Sheriff’s department, Red Cross, and Equine Evacuation representatives! They’ll let us know what to expect in case of fire in our neighborhood, the most impactful preparations we can do right now as individuals and communities, and also answer our burning questions (pun maybe a little intended…)! In addition to our featured speakers, several organizations will be on site with resource and information tables that will help you execute on all you’ll learn at the event.
